Hi,
Starting with 6.11, I notice a strange behavior with the cut function.
With my main machine on Windows 8, I have no problem.
On my Windows XP (3), I have the following issue:
When I cut and try to paste, I get this message after cut:
"Deleting documents and reindexing topic" which takes 1-2 seconds.
Only after indexing is complete, can I paste.
I do a lot of cut and paste of documents and this automatic reindexing makes the operation too time consuming.
Would you know how to turn this auto indexing off?
Or is it a bug that got introduced starting 6.11 that only shows up for older OS?

When you cut documents from the tree, you essentially delete them and copy them to the Clipboard. So MyInfo has to remove them from the search index. If it leaves them there, you will get wrong search results (finding in-existing documents).
MyInfo can omit this step only when you move documents with drag & drop, because it just moves them and does not delete them first.
If MyInfo cut/paste behavior was like in Ms Excel (Cut only marks rows/columns for cutting there, but does not cut them until you hit Paste) then there would be no need for re-indexing, but I think this type of Cut/Copy behavior is too limited.
Another option would be a Copy/Move dialog which copies/moves the selected documents to another location.
