Hi,
I have MI on 3 boxes - 1 Win7 Desk - 1 Win7 laptop and 1 XP Desk all connected via LAN.
I am using the portable MI version and have set it up in Dropbox.
This setup has not been perfect with me however I get by as 99% of work in MI is in just one box, the XP Desk.
I am going away and wish to take MI with me which got me to think maybe if I set up the Desk MI in each computer and only had the Topics in Dropbox or even a USB.
II am not sure I am explaining myself well , but if so would just having the Topics in Dropbox or a USB work.

Yes, it should work just fine.
Thanks Petko yes have tried it and so far so good.
Prior to this set up the whole program in Dropbox but too many files had to be reinfected across all boxes.
This time set up a folder MyInfo in Dropbox and two sub folders Topics and Backup and placed the data file in there.
Much less to index across the others.

Ps. I know it's a huge dif but would there ever be an alternative where it can be used in an iPad?
