Send to myinfo

Post by shx »

Hello, I just bought myinfo and have a question on "send to myinfo"

I looked in the help file and can not find any information about it

Can some point me to where there is an explanation of this feature.

'Send to MyInfo' is an add-on for Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome. It's purpose is to send copies of web pages to MyInfo.

The Internet Explorer version come with the program when you install it. The Firefox and Chrome versions can be downloaded from the Milenix website.

Send to MyInfo (whichever flavour you use) is not a part of MyInfo, it is a web browser add-on.

There are two menu options (in the 'Tools' menu) which appear in Firefox.

1. Send to MyInfo
2. Send to MyInfo (attachment)

If you use 'Send to MyInfo' then a link to the web page you are viewing will appear in MyInfo as a sibling of the topic which is being viewed in MyInfo, this will be visible in the internal browser if you have a network connection.

If you use 'Send to MyInfo (attachment)' then a copy of the web page you are viewing will appear in MyInfo as a sibling of the topic which is being viewed in MyInfo, this will be a document with a link to the page but it will have the page stored in MyInfo as an attachment and so it will be visible in the internal browser offline, i.e. without a network connection.

I can't put it much clearer than this.
