Opening Files

Post by Fred »

As said before, when MI opens a file, and when your comp isn't the most recent / powerful one (netbooks...), before the file in question being displayed, MI displays an empty file, with ruler even when the file in question does not have a ruler, and with an "empty" tree in which there is, in fact, an error message, "No ... found".

As stated, this very ugly flashing of this intermediate screen could perhaps be avoided by introducing a "syslockscreen" or something like that command within the opening command. Such a command yes, then no would add two lines to the code; would that be feasible?
