relative links

I've noticed that if I drag and drop a file name from Internet Explorer, it creates an absolute link in MyInfo; but if I copy and paste from Internet Explorer, I have a relative link.
I would much prefer a relative link in both cases, because the drive letter on which I keep the MyInfo files is different on my desktop computer and my laptop. Hence if I do a drag and drop on one of my computers, the link is broken on the other one. Yet drag and drop is a much more efficient procedure.
