Perform Operations on Filtered Items

Presently, MyInfo's filtering capabilities are severly limited by the fact that you can't peform any kind of operation on filtered items. The only thing you can do is view the items. Ideally, when a filter is applied, you should still be able to perform all the normal operations on the filtered items.
For example, suppose I decide that I want to export all items which are associated with a particular tag to a new MyInfo topic. Currently, there is no way to do this. I can filter on that tag, but I can't do anything with the filtered result set. I'd like to be able to select all the filtered items as a group and export them to a new topic.
