I'm still evaluating MyInfo but so far it looks like the its the closest to what I want. Would like to suggest some new features, however:

Tags : Change the tag delimiter to colons or semi-colons or anything but spaces, so tags can be multi-word phrases;

Links : It would be very useful if MyInfo would scan documents and automatically attach links. For example, suppose I link the name "John Doe" to an email address, or the word "Wikipedia" to a web site. MyInfo could then automatically attach a link to all instances of those words in all documents (as well as future instances that are added). Of course the user should be able to over-ride individual instances.
