Re: Colors, contrast, font appearance etc.
Thanks for the clarifications, Petko. The discussion you linked to (at bugs.chromium.org) is quite interesting because it shows the history and the background of the issue. As browser I use Firefox and only very seldom Chrome - so I was never aware of the big difference in font rendering between the...

I could not send you the topic as attachment to a mail because it is too big. But it is ready for download with the link I have sent you by mail.

Re: Colors, contrast, font appearance etc.
If I shift to a different default, MyInfo does not change the font of text that has been modified in any way -- e.g. italic or bold. I see. That's a problem that I surely would have too (as I also use some italic, bold etc.). [I cannot test it now because I have MyInfo 7 only temporarily on my comp...

Table width changes after import from MI 6
When importing a document / note from MyInfo 6 the width of the tables becomes bigger. You can see it in the attached image. On the other hand, tables pasted directly from a MS Word document keep in MyInfo 7 their original (= smaller) width. This is of course the desired behaviour. But the result is...

Re: Colors, contrast, font appearance etc.
Bill, Scot and bevanj, thank you all for your interest in the matter and for your comments. :D I tried bevanj's suggestion: For font contrast, would it help you to use Segoe UI Semi-bold? Thank you very much for this tip, bevanj. Yes, with this font the readability is by far better. Something like t...

Colors, contrast, font appearance etc.
Hello Petko (and all visitors to this forum), I just started my first test with the official version of MyInfo 7.0.9 (6695). Unfortunately the first visual impression (and this is an essential one) is not good: All (user interface, the font within the editor etc.) is too bright, with missing of cont...

Re: MyInfo v6.36 [4663] BASIC questions
Is it possible to define within the target document an anchor so that ich can directly jump to a specific position within this document? For example "jump in the 10th row of the target document. Yes. I do it quite often - in the following way: - You go with the cursor to the 10th row of the ta...

Re: New User Evaluating - Text Editor on Bottom?
And for users (like me  ) who prefer buttons to keyboard shortcuts there is still another possibility that can at least reduce the standard procedure by one step: They could transfer the "Properties & Security" element to one of the toolbars: - Tools --> Customize --> tab "C...

Re: New User Evaluating - Text Editor on Bottom?
the text editor appears at the BOTTOM of my screen instead of the right. I want to move it and have looked through most every obvious option without finding anything. But you can find the solution in the thread you linked by yourself. Petko described it: - go to File --> Properties & Security -...

Re: Build 4441: A line pops up
Petko, is it possible to download somewhere the (older) build 4375? I think it was the last one before build 4441 and as it worked for my needs without any problems it would be fine if I had the possibility to revert to 4375. (Not sure if I will do it finally, but just to have the possibility.) (Wit...

Build 4441: A line pops up
Yesterday I updated to build 4441 of version 6.35. It seems to me that with this build an additonal frame around the editor has been added (or the already existing one is stronger?) (I marked it with red arrows in the following picture). I do not remember exactly how it was before, but in any case i...

Re: Program freeze
Just to inform you, Jon:
I also tried it (with the link provided by you and with the method you mention). Here with Windows 7 Home Premium, 32 bit. There was no freezing of the program.

Re: option to disable "cursor position remembering"
MyInfo can also link directly to a paragraph and so you i can just link my notes from now on from the uttermost cursor position on the top and thus all documents will load thereby from the top. That's indeed a good workaround, donleone. Nevertheless the suggestion you made in your first posting cou...
