Re: Suggestions for improved use in research environments

Wow. Very nice suggestions! I second all of them, but I'd like to emphasize two, and make reference to a previous suggestion of mine related to the thread. 4. QDA (Qualitative Data Analysis) functionality. 6. Right-click popup menu for highlighting colours. When I read documents in MyInfo, I use hig...

Possible apply same columns of a section onto another section? Possible set default columns for new sections?

Hi, I set a section columns (note list) with attributes I like to see. a) Is it possible to apply automatically that same columns onto other sections of the notebook? Or do I need to recreate manually all custom columns for each section? b) Can I set the columns for a section and make it my default ...

Format>Styles for the "Note List"

Hi,

I'd like to suggest that similar "Format>Styles" functionality become available for the "note list" too.
Maybe under "Format" menu could exist the options:
- Styles (Note Editor)
- Styles (Note List)

Thank you!

Any chance this will happen?

"Find and Replace" functionality for note titles

Hi,

It would be great if "Find and Replace" batch functionality was available for note titles.
It would improve a lot the possibilities for better organizing notes based on their titles.

Thank you,
Carlos

"Links to" functionalities like the "backlinks" ones

Hi, The recent implement "backlinks" functionalities are great! I'd like to suggest the same functionalities to the "links to" referred in a note. Although the "links to" are embedded in the note body, their identification demands perusing the full note. Since some note...

Global search appearance + Dates grouped as headings + Store last used panel width

Hi, a) Currently, the font size of the "Global Search" panel is automatically set according to the "Note List" font size. It would be great if those settings were independent, for instance, in my use case, I'd like the "Note List" font size bigger than the "Global ...

Re: bi-directional linking (backlinks)

When you link to another note, if you look at that "linked note" you won't see a back link in the note body, but if you look above the note body at the note title and to the right of the note title you'll see a little box that shows up that will say a number of "backlinks" with ...

Re: bi-directional linking (backlinks)

Lets illustrate this by example 1. Open MyInfo (assuming empty notebook) 2. Rename the initial note to say AAA 3. Right click the note: copy link to this note 4. Create a new note 5. Paste the link in the editor area 6. Go back to AAA note Link to this paragraph works exactly the same. Hope it help...

[planned] When updating the portable version, detect automatically the path it is installed

Hi, It's exciting to receive a pop-up message that a MyInfo update is available. It is already nice you can click update, then the installer is downloaded and runs automatically. The problem is that every time I update MyInfo portable, the installation path points to a root folder of a drive letter ...
