I noticed this issue was in the 4.01 release notes: "B fixed a data loss problem on Windows logout". I just upgraded to 4.01, but unfortunately the problem I reported in this thread is still there. The exact same scenario reproduces the problem. Help > About confirms I'm running version 4....

Lost information on Windows logout

I lost some information in MyInfo 4 and I can reproduce it. I open a topic. Create a new node and type some text. I close MyInfo with the windows close button. It minimizes to the tray, because the option “Close button minimizes application” is set. That's good. Then I logout of Windows XP and it cl...

[fixed in mi3.55C] mi3.55: error reading text data

I've just upgraded to 3.55. I use the search function, select a document in the search result, click in the text pane, then realize I can't edit so I click the Edit button. I then get an error dialog: "Error reading text data!" When I don't click inside the document, and after selecting it...

I can confirm I've seen the same problem (with 3.53). Some keywords are not found, while I'm sure they're in my documents. It's weird.

PHP works fine though, so this acronym is not on a builtin blacklist :?

Save on Minimize removed in 3.54

Release notes of 3.54:
removed the Save on Minimize option, because of some problems with Windows XP
What a pity! Just curious, what are the problems with XP? I haven't noticed any with 3.53.

Well, in that case I think the "New topic name" dialog should restrict names to ASCII-only. This mysteriously failing functionality is annoying. I've lost a half hour tracking down the problem :x

Link to document fails when non-Ascii in filename [3.52]

I have several topics in MyInfo. I regularly create internal hyperlinks between documents in different topics with: 1. Tree > Right click > Copy link to document 2. Document > Right click > Paste This morning this didn't work in a particular case: when I clicked paste, nothing appeared. No text, no ...

I agree: MyInfo should support outlook: links (or any type of hyperlink supported by the platform for that matter).

This is not specific to Teamscope. There are many ways to create useful hyperlinks to Outlook items.

I'm not quite sure if i understand you correctly, but I'm unable to reproduce this behaviour. What exactly do you mean by "But if I view the web document that I've also added to my new MyInfo file"? And where you say "I added a new document that contains an url with a link to a web si...

How can we influence ranking of search? (3.51)

Usually ranking of the new search feature is fine. But sometimes when I search for a particular document by its name, it shows up at position 10 in the search results. The documents above it contain the same word in the text. This happens, for example, with an empty document, which only serve to con...
