Re: Build 4441: A line pops up

Petko, is it possible to download somewhere the (older) build 4375? I think it was the last one before build 4441 and as it worked for my needs without any problems it would be fine if I had the possibility to revert to 4375. (Not sure if I will do it finally, but just to have the possibility.) (Wit...

Build 4441: A line pops up

Yesterday I updated to build 4441 of version 6.35. It seems to me that with this build an additonal frame around the editor has been added (or the already existing one is stronger?) (I marked it with red arrows in the following picture). I do not remember exactly how it was before, but in any case i...

Re: Program freeze

Just to inform you, Jon:

I also tried it (with the link provided by you and with the method you mention). Here with Windows 7 Home Premium, 32 bit. There was no freezing of the program.

Re: option to disable "cursor position remembering"

MyInfo can also link directly to a paragraph and so you i can just link my notes from now on from the uttermost cursor position on the top and thus all documents will load thereby from the top. That's indeed a good workaround, donleone. Nevertheless the suggestion you made in your first posting cou...

Re: Expanding the FIND function to include Document Titles

there is one feature that I really would like to see in the product: Expanding the FIND function to include Document Titles. I am using MyInfo to assist me in writing a book, and often I have key information (words) in the Titles of the documents. My searches never find those words. Apart from what...

Re: new feature: PROJECTS

I don't share your reservations about tags, Tester. I find them extremely useful for certain kinds of material. Their main advantage over a hierarchical organization (of the kind that you envision) is that you can apply several tags to a single document and that it will therefore appear easily in m...

Re: new feature: PROJECTS

Yes, possibly a similar result could be achieved with tags. The difference seems to be the convenience. I do not use tags but they remind me of something like stickers you put on your CDs (or books) which are placed in a mixed way altogether on a single long shelf in your music room or library. The ...

Re: new feature: PROJECTS

That is something I would like too. At the moment we have 2 levels: Topic (File) and Document. It would be fine if there were a 3rd level. (Either it can be seen as a "super-organization level" above the topics or as an intermediate level between the two already existing ones - that's only...

Re: Creating new files.

 I think I will get her to always use the /File/Open from the top menu option then choose the correct file at the top of the list. This way she has to have the correct one. Yes, and things are even more easy: as mentioned, when you restrict anyway your work to one file/topic (not creating othe...

Re: Creating new files.

We want to have only 1 file name to be saved , never ever any other files to be created or saved. That's the same way I use MyInfo (1 file/topic). I never had the problem you describe. So now it seems the data we use is now under this new name and all new data entered is now in this file NOT where ...

Re: Unable to change document title style

I assume that with the document headings in the tree CyberCrone is satisfied yet, as we have discussed a special case of changing their appearance already here: http://forums.milenix.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4601 As you can modify their appearance (in the tree) permanently via Tools ---> Options ...

Re: Unable to change document title style

As far as I have tried it now, I can confirm your observations. I could not manage too a change of the style of the document title (the one that appears above the editor pane). I assume that currently there is no possibility to change the style there. ( "Document Title" in the list under F...
