In order to edit the embedded file, you have to use Edit file instad of View file in the Attachment pane. When you click Edit file, a dialog with two buttons will appear: Save and Cancel. After you are ready editing the file, click Save and it will be updated in MyInfo.

Kevin, I agree that these settings could be more consistent. Our idea is create a template, which will be used for every new document by default, so you will be able to change all settings in this template and later change the settings for individual topics, if you want so.

Paul, you can do that in the Format > Styles dialog. There select the Normal style (which is the default text style for each new document) and change its properties in the Font dialog.

We are going to implement multi-document editing (using the Document Properties dialog), so it will be possible to set up document and subdocuments sensitivity easily in MyInfo 4!

This suggestion makes a lot of sense. It will integrate very well with the existing columns feature and will be very helpful. My only concern is that it may be a lot of programming work and testing. I have to research this in order to know is it achievable for version 4.

The ability to reorder topics with the mouse will be for sure in MyInfo 4! We will also think for a simple way to have default topics open at startup, without cluttering the user interface.

Of course, I need more information to be more precise, but you can use the custom tree columns to add information about Symptoms, Diseases and Doctors and later filter on that info. You can also create a date column for doctor office visits.

This is not possible at the moment. It is not in our top priority new features list, but we will consider it for the future versions.
