Re: Program freeze
I tried the link to the NYT web page, and it works fine for me. Am able to paste it in the document tree and view the web document (page) including images in the internal and external browser without issues. The size of the topic is also not an issue as it worked in both smaller and larger (than 144...

Re: Program freeze
It doesn't happen here either. I tried three different ways: CTRL+Win+Q, Edit > Paste, and Insert Web Document. All three works. I am running Windows 10 (latest update) with the latest version of MI.

Re: Tag font
Excuse me for raising this again, but speaking of tags, it would also be helpful to provide some assistance with 'finding' a specific tag in a crowded tag pane. This can be as simple as highlighting and moving the cursor to the matching tag (that starts with the letters) as you type - like in Window...

Re: Generate document from link tag
I must admit that I have been using MI for many years, and I didn't know about this [[ gem. Is it documented anywhere (couldn't find it). Are there other similar possibilities?

Re: Error message - Failed to set data for "MyInfo.exe"
Try re-installing MyInfo "as administrator." (Right click on the installation file and select "Run as administrator.") If that doesn't work, go to Start -> Control Panel -> Troubleshooting -> Programs -> Program Compatibility Troubleshooter. See if MyInfo is listed. If not, selec...

Re: Ribbon bar?
Before editing this post I had said that the ribbon bar takes up too much screen real estate, but actually a side-by-side comparison reveals that with all the tool bars enabled, MyInfo takes up even more space. But I usually hide MyInfo's favorites bar, so without it, the space is about the s...

Re: MyInfo 6.35 available
Fixed: changed go to previous/next search result default hotkeys to Shift+Ctrl+, and Shift+Ctrl+., because the previous clashed with another command hotkeys. Which search result is this referring to? Is it for going to the previous/next document or previous/next word within a document or both? I tr...

Re: Some thoughts about tags in MyInfo
Thank you Petko. That would be great.. I would like to suggest CTRL+click-ability not only for tags shown in the left hand side window (tags tab) but also on the tags shown in the tag editor (above the documents in the Text Editor window.) Also related to this, but actually a general enhancement to ...

Re: Some thoughts about tags in MyInfo
I too have been using tags heavily, at least I am applying multiple tags to new article as I create them, hoping that I can quickly find them again by using tags. However, when it comes to retrieving articles with multiple tags quickly, MyInfo falls short. In the tags pane, currently you can select ...

Re: Copy/Paste Text from the Internet
Great. Thanks Petko. How about showing this short cut in the menu (Edit > Paste Advanced > Paste Text). As a matter of fact, how about showing all missing shortcuts wherever appropriate in the menus?

Copy/Paste Text from the Internet
To save articles from the internet (mostly text) this is what I do: Insert a new document in the tree, copy selected text from the browser (Ctrl-C) and then paste it (Edit > Paste Advanced > Paste Text) in the new document. To avoid pictures and unwanted content, I have to do this in several steps t...

Re: Insert > Document From File
Petko, just to give you feedback, I turned off both options, and now it is working a lot better although not 100% of the time. Once in a while the error happens, but when I try again it works.

Re: Insert > Document From File
Thank you Petko. I have downloaded and installed MI 6.15. Haven't yet tried all the improvements I missed since 6.09, but so far I love the tag enhancements. New shortcut for adding sub-document as the first child is very handy. Regarding the problem, it still happens inconsistently. For example, I ...
