Lock-up on Automatic Save

It appears MyInfo can lock-up when an automatic save starts while an attribute list-box is open. It would be ideal if it waited till the list-box was closed.

Small improvements

Two small improvements that would be useful: 1. Allow clearing the Due Date in filter view. 2. Create a setting that sets "collapse all" documents as the default whenever one leaves the tree view (e.g. for a filter) or closes a topic or closes MyInfo. This would then act somewhat like a &q...

How about no year as well in column/attributes e.g. 25-May or May-25?

Comment editing issue

For comment attribute: 1. When I run the cursor over it in the columns or attributes panel it doesn't show the full comment as implied in the help section. 2. Double click over the comment column for a document opens its "edit" dialog box when in the filter pane but not when in the tree pa...

Problem of editing attributes in filter view persists.

The fix for editing attributes in filter view columns is inconsistent. sometimes the edit takes, other times it doesn't. Generally, it does work if the same edits are done in the attribute view. It would be very helpful to get this to work in filter view as well.

Try this

Just add a due date as an attribute in the task panel or in a column. That converts it automatically to a task. When you clear the due date (and "started on" date, if there is one) in the attributes it reverts to being a document. That could be improved but works for now.

Browser file viewing

Any plans to include file viewing (Excel, Word, PDF) in the browser function (like PowerDesk)? I think it would be a very useful addition.

Select outline levels

It would be helpful to have a quick way to select the number of visible levels in the outline tree.

Tree pane formating

It would be helpful to have thin border lines that deliniate document titles and attributes in the tree pane. This would give a row and column look that would be easier to navigate. I would then eliminate the attribute prompts in the highlighted line as it would be obvious what cell one wanted to en...

Viewer

I have now switched over from ADM to MyInfo. Two addition I miss are:

1. Hoisting
2. Ability to view files (Excel, Word) in the viewer.

These would be good additions.

Embedded Files

It would be useful to create a way to embed a file in the data window by drag and drop. Perhaps it could be an option or if dropped in one location in the window just the link would be visable whereas in another location the file would be automatically embedded.

Problems

I'm the proud owner of 4.0. There are a few issues I've noticed already: 1. The "right indent" for bulleted and numbered lists doesn't work. 2. The browser doesn't show an image of Word files like it (sometimes) used to. A file viewer for common applications in the browser would be a big a...

Hoisting

I agree completely that there is a need for some added ability to focus on selected documents. Hoisting allows the user to focus on a particular document and its subdocuments. Even more important, I believe the filtered document view should retain columns and allow expansion to subdocuments and edit...

Reminders and alerts

I'm just joining the group but would like to add my support for adding reminder/alert functionality and/or connectivity with Outlook in version 4. It is a glaring absence that compromizes this otherwise excellent product.

I would be happy to participate in Beta testing.
