Questions about entry forms

Post by NadiaVKhan »

Hello,

I am trying to find a replacement for AskSam for my businesses. I need a free-form database that will allow to me save internet articles and be able to search them by date, country, type, etc.

I think MyInfo can do this for me. However, the tutorial has not been much help. How do I create entry forms? In other words, how do I create forms for date, country, type, etc.

Am I also able to import data from Microsoft Access?

Thank you.

MyInfo should do the job just fine!

Currently (in MyInfo 6.x), you can have a single form per topic (database), which you can configure via Tools > Form Editor. You need to create the required attributes first (via View > Attributes) and then add them in the Form Editor.

In MyInfo 7 it will be possible to have multiple forms in the same database.

There is no direct import from Microsoft Access currently, but if you can export the information to comma delimited file (CSV), you can then import it in MyInfo.
