Tag font

Post by wsp »

I have always found the tags difficult to read, especially on a laptop screen: they are in a small, light, tightly letterspaced sanserif font. Would it be possible to make the font boldface or to replace it with a somewhat darker font?

It would also be nice to be able to have custom colors for particular tags, but I realize that may be more complicated -- perhaps an idea for the next version?

Excuse me for raising this again, but speaking of tags, it would also be helpful to provide some assistance with 'finding' a specific tag in a crowded tag pane. This can be as simple as highlighting and moving the cursor to the matching tag (that starts with the letters) as you type - like in Windows Explorer. For example, typing "ar" will take you to the first tag whose name starts with "ar"

Is this the tag editor or the tags that show up when you point with the mouse to the tag column in the tree?

I will add this to the todo list. Sounds like a good idea.

Petko, I deal with tags most frequently as they are spread above individual notes. That's what I had in mind. I don't venture into the separate view of all the tags very often -- usually just to quickly modify a tag name.

But I am looking at the tags above the notes constantly, and they are hurting my eyes!
