Error message when checking for update

Using the latest version. When manually checking for updates, I receive the message below. Thinking it is a firewall problem, I set up a rule allowing MyInfo full access. It did not help. Is this a website problem, a problem with the program, or a different adjustment I must make?

If it is not a firewall problem it might be some anti-virus application blocking it. If you have an anti-virus could you disable it temporary in order to see if it causes the problem?

I tried your suggestion. It seems not to be an anti-virus issue. I got the same result. To sum, explicitly allowing all access through my firewall and/or disabling anti-virus does not resolve the error.
