Linux and WINE problem with Chinese characters

I tried to directly install Myinfo on my Linux Monjaro system using WINE. Everything seems to work except one important thing: It doesn't recognize Chinese characters and the fcitx Chinese input program doesn't work inside Myinfo.

Can this problem be easily fixed?

Have you tried changing the default font MyInfo uses (Tools > Options > Display)? Maybe it is related to the Chinese characters problem.

Are they not visible in the tree or in the text editor?

P.S.: I am not aware of the fcitx Chinese input program you mention, but it seems like a Linux app. Does it work with other applications installed under WINE?

Hello
I tried changing the fonts as you suggested but that didn't work. I think the problem has to do with being able to read UTF-8 characters.

It might be a little late but have you tried installing Chinese fonts on your system and configuring Wine to use them? You could also try checking the Wine configuration settings to make sure everything is set up correctly. Another option could be to try running Myinfo through a virtual machine running a Chinese version of Windows if you have access to that.
