[fixed] Bullet point (and non bullet point) URLs doesn't work if formatted

Post by alexsaramin »

Hello,
I have a bullet point list with a list of url (each bullet point is a link to a webpage)
They work until I format them (bold or italic). When I do that, the CTRL + click stop working (the webpage doesn't open in browser.
It still works regularly (even with the formatting) if there's some non-link text between the bullet point and the URL.

EDIT:
The same problem persist even for non bullet lists: formatting (bold) a link situated at the beginning of the line make the CTRL + Click stop working.

I am not able to reproduce it, I am afraid. If you to the same in a new note, does the problem appear too?

Yes, I can reproduce it in any note, and even in a different Notebooks with different styles, but not always. If I use exactly the following process, it happens everytime.

1. Start creating a new note.
2. Click on "Click to start writing.." in the note
3. Press CTRL + K
4. Write "Test" in the Text to display field
5. Type "http://google.com" in the "Type the address you want to link to:" field
6. Click on OK
Try the CTRL + Click on the Test link: It works!
Select the "Test" link (go at the end of the line, then press Shift + End to select the Test link/whole line.
Press CTRL + B.
Try again the CTRL + Click on the Test link: Now it does't work!

TO TEST FURTHER
Follow again the process above from 1 to 6
...
7. This time DON'T CTRL + Click on the test link. The cursor is now at the end of the "Test" link (and of the line.
8. Press SHIFT + HOME to select the whole line.
9. Press CTRL + B.
10. CTRL + Click on the Link: It works.
11. Move at the end of the link/line and select the whole line again with Shipt + Home.
12. Press CTRL + B (to turn bold OFF).
13. CTRL + Click on the Link: It works.
14. Move at the end of the link/line and select the whole line again with Shipt + Home.
15. Press CTRL + B (to turn bold ON).
16. CTRL + Click on the Link: Now it doesn't work.

ALSO THIS WAY:
Also the same error appears doing this:
1. Copy and past a bulletted list of links to a new note
(I copied this: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/s ... Extensions, the first post, including the line before the bulletted list and the line after it.)
2. Select the whole list and press CTRL + 0 to remove formatting.
3. CTRL + Click on a link (eg. "Windows Saver X"): It works.
4. Move to the beginning of a bulleted link (eg. "Windows Saver X). Use Shift + End to select entire line.
5. CTRL + B to bold entire line/link.
6. CTRL + Click on the link: It doesn't work anymore.

Thank you,
Alex

I do reproduce the issue following the given steps (Build 6391). Other ways of selecting/bolding the text seem to work fine
