Option to Clone a Note along with all of its Children.

Post by gyrus »

Dear MyInfo Team,

I've noticed that when i do a regular copy-paste action on a note, it will paste that note along with all of its children.
Furthermore if there are any cloned notes among the children, they will be properly pasted as clones too.

Where as using the clone action, i can only clone notes which are at the same tree-level.
Therefore I'd wish for an (additional) option to clone a note, including all children downwards the tree.

Best regards

Bump! As I'm running into this issue too (now I do consider to use clones). Copy/paste clone should behave similar to similar to regular copy/paste and include the children.

FWIW: clone does currently not entail 'include hierarchy'. If this being truly needed is another question. It's also kind of interesting, but it looks pretty hard to accomplish.

@Gyrus: Sorry, for going without response.

Not sure what the current position is .. Still 'maybe'?

Any chance this will happen?
