Expand collapse notebooks in Notebooks pane

Post by Ivar »

I would like whenn Myinfo is starting up, all notebooks (sections) are closed (collapsed)
And whenn i Click on a notebook it expand with the sections.
If i click another notebook it expands, but the notebook opened before collapse.

And another wish, make the notebook panel bigger (width).
I mean the same as the editor pane, draging its width with the mouse.
or make its width configurable in the options (as the search field size)

I do like the current behavior. But I do understand why you want them closed.
Expanding 1 and closing the other.. Well.. this wasn't the original idea. But for usability kind practical..
Still tendency for splitting notebooks from sections. And listing sections in the current notebook panel only. And listing the notebooks in a toolbar. This would deliver what you ask for in a different way...

FWIW: how does this in your 'drag & drop notes request'. If those collapse you can't drag & drop across databases anymore

I agree. For current implementation and if this would be a 'section only panel'

Yes I thought about the 'drag and drop'.
Therefore would it be as an option (on/of in custom settings)

Or another maybe nicer way:
One mouse click on the notebook icon opens the notebook (as it now is by clicking on the small arrow before the notebook icon)
And a double click opens it for staying open.

Where was I.. obviously a pin button. Similar to pinning the notebook panel
