Inserting objects is laborious

Inserting objects seems to be very demanding compared to some other applications. For example, if I want to import a pdf, from the MyInfo insert menu I have to make at least ten clicks to import an object, including an icon to identify it.
1- Insert menu
2- Insert object
3- Create from file
4- Browse
5- Now navigate to find it (could be a number of extra clicks)
6- select it
7- Open
8- Click link
9- Click display as icon
10. OK to accept
I guess you are using the MS object packager, but To streamline this It would be helpful to have an import/ attach option in the windows right click menu. Clicking on any file or folder, or its header bar if open, would invoke an option to import, attach, or make a local link to the file or folder.
This has been well implemented in the zoot Knowledge base application. Maybe worth a look?
