Merging documents

Post by jactom »

Hi!
Is it possible to merge a few documents into one that can be edited before printing?

My first reply is: why don't you just copy & paste them together into one document ?

Or are there too many ? Only other idea I have: select the documents from the tree, export or copy them to a new topic, then export this topic completely to an RTF File. Unfortunately the export to a single file lets you not specify which documents to select.

@Petko: an idea for an enhancement ?

There will be quite a lot of documents because I divide every text into many smaller chunks (paragraphs, scenes, thoughts etc) so that I can rearrange them with ease.

In this case I would really export or copy them to a separate topic and them export them into a single RTF file.
Will das work for you ?

I think exporting to a RTF file is the best way too. Then you can edit them in a dedicated word processor like Ms Word, which probably is what you want?
