Conditional formatting causing slowness/lagging when scrolling the note list

Post by cadudesun »

Hi. Reporting that after applying 5 custom conditional formatting based on "tag" criteria, the scrolling of the note list (within the same session) became slow/lagging when using the mouse wheel or dragging the scrollbar.

In the screen-recording below, you can see that after releasing the mouse wheel, it took some seconds for the scrolling to be performed.
Then I disabled my 5 conditional formatting rules and performed the test again, being the scrolling performed properly (without noticeable lagging).

I've attached the notebook used in my tests, which has 80 notes within the same session. All notes are blank/empty. They have just tags assigned.

MyInfo application and the notebooks are stored in an SSD hard disk.
Other specs of my computer are:
OS Windows 11 Home
Notebook Dell XPS 9570
Core i7-8750H
Memory 16GB DDR4
Graphics Intel UHD 630 + NVIDIA GTX 1050Ti 4GB

If you need further information or testing, just let me know.

It would be great whether the conditional formatting could cause less impact (minimum lagging) when scrolling.

Regards,
Carlos
